Bangladesh Senior Advisor - MEL and Program Development USAID

Farzana Yasmeen is the lead for Program Development and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) for the Economic Growth (EG) office at USAID Bangladesh, covering the two largest portfolios of the mission with 25+ projects. In her 18 years career, she has been part of a wide-ranging development efforts in Bangladesh, Afghanistan and overseas in the areas of –

• Agriculture and food security (Feed the Future)
• Markets systems development and value chains
• Climate change and biodiversity conservation
• Private sector engagement and development
• Infrastructure development
• Countering wildlife trafficking
• Gender equality and integration
• Livelihoods development
• Nutrition

As a senior technical expert, Farzana is highly capable in strategic planning, design, procurement and implementation of programs and projects. Farzana is also a seasoned project manager, having managed multiple research and development projects.
