Welcome to the Help Center!

Find answers to commonly asked questions below. If you need more assistance, contact the Agrilinks team via our contact form or at [email protected] We are continuously working to improve your experience, so please let us know of any issues you encounter or features you would like.

How do I?

Create an account:

  1. Click the log in button in the upper right corner of our homepage.
  2. Toggle to the second tab, Create New Account.
  3. Fill in the form, and click “Create Account.”
  4. You will receive an email confirming your account. Click the link in the email to validate your email address. 
  5. Our team will review your account within two business days. 
  6. Once your account is approved, you will receive an email confirmation and access to the site as a user. 

Sign in:

  1. From the homepage, click the log in button in the upper right corner.
  2. Fill in your username and password.

Fill out my profile:

  1. Log into Agrilinks.org.
  2. Click “My Account” in the upper right corner.
  3. Click “My profile.” 
  4. Toggle to the tab labeled “Edit” and fill out the fields. 

Request a new password:

  1. From the homepage, click the log in button in the upper right corner.
  2. Toggle to the third tab, labeled “Reset Your Password.” 
  3. Enter your email address. A password reset link will be emailed to you.

Change my password:

  1. Log into Agrilinks.org.
  2. Click “My Account” in the upper right corner.
  3. Click “My profile.” 
  4. Once on your profile, toggle to the tab labeled “Edit.” 
  5. Enter your current password, and then your new password.  

Post a blog: 

  1. Log into Agrilinks.org.
  2. Click the “Post” button in the upper right corner and select “Add a post.”
  3. Enter a title.
  4. Today’s date will be auto-populated.
  5. Enter any authors in addition to yourself using the additional author’s Agrilinks username. Only authors who have an Agrilinks account can be added. Click “Add another item” to add more than one additional author.
  6. Upload a featured image to accompany your post. Click “Add media,” then “Choose file.” 
  7. Enter a short description of your post under “Teaser Text.” This is what readers will see on the homepage. 
  8. In the body section, enter the main copy for your post. You can type directly in the field. 
  9. If you would like to embed a photo in your post, use the image icon. Click the small button that looks like a photo and click “Choose File.” Select your photo, and click “Upload.” 
  10. Use the “Resource” function at the bottom of the page to add additional resources to the post. Click the arrow next to “Add External Link” to see a list of upload options. 
  11. Toggle to the “Additional Information” tab to complete the final steps. 
  12. Select at least one topic from the list of 12 topics to categorize your post.
  13. If your post is part of a series or related to an event, fill out the “Related To” field. Type the name of the other piece of content your post is related to.
  14. Click Save. Your post will be sent to the Agrilinks team for moderation and posted once approved.

Submit an event:

  1. Log into Agrilinks.org.
  2. Click the “Post” button in the upper right corner and select “Add an event.” 
  3. Enter a title.
  4. Enter a short description of the event under “Teaser Text.” 
  5. In the body section, enter the main description of your event. You can type directly in the field. 
  6. Upload a featured image to accompany your event. Click “Add media”, then “Choose file.”
  7. Toggle to the “Event details” tab at the top of the form and enter the date and time of the event in the format. All times will be displayed in GMT/UTC.
  8. Add a registration link in the “Registration Link” field.
  9. Add any external links or resources for the side bar in the “More Info” section. 
  10. Toggle to the “Additional Info” tab and select at least one topic that is relevant to your post. Use the Parent group field to tie the event to an activity page if desired. 
  11. Click Save. Your post will be sent to the Agrilinks team for moderation and posted once approved.

Explore topics:

  1. From the homepage, click on the “Topics” heading at the top left corner. 
  2. Scroll down to see specific topics related to your work, like opportunities, markets and trade, food safety, and more.

Register for an Agrilinks webinar or event:

  1. From the homepage, click on the “Events” heading.
  2. Click on the title of an upcoming event. 
  3. Scroll down to the event’s details box and click on the link associated with “Register.” Not all events will have registration links. 
  4. Note that Agrilinks sponsored events are labeled with a leaf and an “Agrilinks Event,” description.

Access event presentations and other event resources:

  1. Visit the Past Agrilinks Events page, which includes archived Agrilinks events. 
  2. Each page includes links to the recording as well as presentation, audio, and transcripts in the sidebar.
