Philip is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He previously worked as a Project Management Practitioner in International development with over 14 years of experience in project design and implementation. His work areas include food security, agriculture & climate change adaptation, agricultural value chains and market competitiveness, technology & innovation dissemination, rural livelihood & sustainable development. He helped in building private sector firms through sensitizing agro-processing companies, seeds companies and agro-dealers. He has been involved in policy issues in the seed and fertilizer sector in Ghana, notably the Ghana Seed Plan, the Fertilizer Subsidy Model, and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Medium Term Agriculture Sector Investment Plan (METASIP III). He is also the founder and executive director of Tehillah Business Solution, a social enterprise that provides advisory services on setting up and management of the agro-food industry in Ghana.
