Verjuste Kombila, MD, graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw,
She also attended her undergraduate studies and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Immunology. During her residency, Dr. Kombila trained at the Medical University of Gdansk, Department of Oncology. She was able to provide superior care and consultation that resulted in an overall improvement in the department's patient satisfaction quotient. Afterward, she completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Jagiellonian University Medical College, Krakow. Dr. Kombila focused on the patient's treatment and reevaluated several methods of therapy management dependent on cancer toe tailored to a patient's history and the efficacy of previous therapies.
Dr. Kombila has been practicing in the Department of Oncology at John Paul II Hospital in Krakow, Poland, since 2009. Her practice focuses on non-small cell lung cancer, and she works with researchers at the Medical Center to pioneer clinical research that focuses on
anticancer drug therapies in various phases of clinical trials. In addition, she has been working in sub-Saharan Africa as a consultant for the past four years.

She joined the Petronille Healthy Society two years ago to offer assistance and experience on medical missions when needed, along with consultation. Dr. Kombila speaks multiple languages and provides various primary care services to rural and underserved areas. Dr. Kombila offers the Petronille team a unique perspective and helpful guidance on every medical mission.
