Identifying Behavioral Drivers of Effective Food Safety Policy

Event Information
Although regulations are key policy infrastructure for strengthening food safety, realizing their potential requires behavior change in individuals across the entire food system. Consumer choice and workforce behavior—and the perceptions that influence them—are powerful drivers of food safety. The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Safety leverages research and expertise in food safety, food production, nutrition, and international development to identify the root causes of foodborne illness within supply chains. This final installment in our webinar series explores effective behavioral approaches to reduce, manage, and mitigate the risk of foodborne diseases.
