I am a research scientist and mechanical engineer at MIT D-Lab. I work with D-Lab community partners on design and evaluation of affordable products and the machines that make them, and using IoT to responsibly access hard-to-reach information. I instruct courses at MIT where students practice design and engineering in low-resource settings. I am also a co-founder of social businesses in India and Uganda.
