New Indicators: Sales, finance, and investment indicators {Feed the Future MEL Webinar Series}
Event Information
The USAID Bureau for Food Security's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Division invites you to the fourth installment in our Feed the Future MEL Webinar Series.
New Indicators: Sales, finance, and investment indicators
In October 2017, a revised set of Feed the Future indicators was announced, in alignment with the Feed the Future results framework and the USG Global Food Security Strategy. In March 2018, Feed the Future's MEL Division published the updated Feed the Future Indicator Handbook, which contains definitions of each of these indicators, plus instructions for use. These indicators are intended for use beginning in the 2018-19 fiscal year.
At this webinar, we will be discussing three important indicators (below), including major changes, additions, and disaggregates. We will include some examples and interactive exercises to help get you thinking about how to collect and report on data for these indicators.
- EG.3.1-14 - Value of new USG commitments and private sector investment leveraged by the USG to support food security and nutrition
- EG.3.2-26 - Value of annual sales of farms and firms receiving USG assistance
- EG.3.2-27 - Value of agriculture-related financing accessed as a result of USG assistance
To get the most out of this webinar, please review the Indicator Reference Sheets for these three indicators in advance.
Please join us to discuss these indicators and bring your questions!
