Innovative Financing for Agriculture and Food Security
Event Information
UNCTAD estimates that there is a $2.5 trillion investment gap in developing countries in order to achieve the SDGs. To fill this gap, USAID and other donors are beginning to demand that implementing partners leverage private sector resources to enhance the impact of traditional project-based implementation. This session will bring together experts who can speak to a range of innovative financing products that can help drive private sector growth and competitiveness in the agriculture space ranging from familiar products such as DCAs, GDAs, and small-scale grants, to more innovative instruments such as blended finance investment funds, development impact bonds, and quasi-equity investment products.
Please note that registration will close at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7th.
This event will feature a reception sponsored by Chemonics International.
