Zachary Baquet
I serve as the Knowledge Management Specialist for USAID’s Bureau for Food Security (BFS) and work on finding effective ways to connect those in the agriculture and food security development community with the technical knowledge they need to succeed. Prior to joining BFS, I held an American Association for the Advancement of Sscience: Science & Technology Policy Fellowship in USAID’s former Office of Agriculture. In the Office of Agriculture, I worked on food security, how to integrate climate change and natural resource management into agriculture programming, training and knowledge management issues. I have a B.A. in Physics and Astronomy, dabbled briefly in aerospace engineering before getting a Ph.D. in developmental molecular biology.
