Terhemba Ambe-Uva

Terhemba Ambe-Uva is a doctoral fellow in political studies at the University of Ottawa, where he teaches and research, and a fellow of the West Africa Institute for Regional Integration and Social Transformation, Praia, Cape Verde. His doctoral work in global ecological political economy examines the governance of the fishmeal industry in light of the blue growth transitions and the frictions of local resistance in West Africa. Terhemba has written on regional integration in West Africa as a team member of a Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI), University of Bonn project on Sustainable Regional Integration in West Africa and Europe, and contributing author to Just Energy Futures.
