
Nika Larian
Dr. Nika Larian is a Food Systems Advisor and AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) Center for Nutrition. Dr. Larian is the Co-Chair of the Food Safety Technical Working Group of the Global Nutrition Coordination Plan (GNCP) and the Activity Manager for the Feed the Future program EatSafe. She earned her Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Kentucky, where she studied wasting during sepsis and the effect of environmental pollutants on human health.
