Ms. LeMeur is the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Director with Mercy Corps Nepal's USAID-funded BHAKARI program. She has been managing GESI design, technical and strategic integration in food security programming for nearly 10 years in the nonprofit and private sectors. She has humanitarian and development experience in the sectors of economic recovery and market systems, agriculture and food security, shelter and settlements, WASH, food assistance, resilience, education, and peacebuilding. Her professional and extracurricular experience have focused on programmatic and organizational GESI mainstreaming including diagnostics, analyses, project management, and training and her involvement in GESI initiatives has touched on all aspects of the programmatic lifecycle including design, inception and co-creation and implementation. Ms. LeMeur most recently spent two years in Mali and has also worked in Niger, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Italy, and the US. She holds a Master’s degree in International Development and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelors in International Studies from the same institution.
