Mejury Shiri is the Network Facilitator at AGRA’s #VALUE4HER Network, an advocacy and networking platform for African women in agribusiness. VALUE4HER is Africa’s first agribusiness intelligence platform for women in Ag. VALUE4HER aims to enhance women’s equitable access to agricultural resources and increased value/benefits from agri-enterprises. Mejury has international experience in agribusiness and value chain from her past work at the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (ACP-EU); CTA. She has also previously worked at Wageningen Food and Biobased research where she did a food system analysis for Arua smallholder farmers in Uganda. Mejury holds an MSc in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University, The Netherlands and a BSc in Natural Resources Management and Agriculture (first class) from Midlands State University, Zimbabwe.
