Marcos Paya
Marcos Paya is an Associate Partner in the Mexico City office of Dalberg Advisors, where he leads teams and clients in the solving of the world’s most pressing development challenges. Marcos is a leader in Dalberg’s global Finance & Investment practice, where he has worked extensively on addressing the financing gap for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through sustainable capital allocation. He works closely with institutional asset owners, development finance institutions, investment managers and investee companies. He is also a leader in Dalberg’s Latin America practice.
Prior to Dalberg, Marcos advised corporate and private equity investors on the Latin America region at Eurasia Group, a political risk firm, led projects for the Inter-American Development Bank, and was a Senior Consultant for the Monitor Group, where he helped governments and large multinational companies compete and grow in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Marcos is originally from Spain and holds a graduate degree from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge. He speaks French, Spanish, English and Portuguese.
