Lindsey Moore is a Senior Economist and Data Scientist with more than 15 years of experience in designing, managing, and evaluating development activities in the area of economic growth, agriculture, environment, public financial management, policy analysis, and health. Ms. Moore served as a Foreign Service Economist at USAID for ten years first as the Country Economist in Bangladesh, then as the Regional Caribbean Economist based in the Dominican Republic, and finally as the Senior Economist of the Asia Bureau. She holds a wealth of experience in managing large budgets and teams. Ms. Moore's development experience is complemented by her firm footing within academia as a Research Fellow at United Nations University. Today, Ms. Moore translates cutting-edge research into tangible outcomes by working with a range of implementing partners to break down technology barriers to harnessing the power of data science as CEO of DevelopMetrics.
