This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Distance Learning Program. This article shares the journey of the program and explores its hopes for the future.

During the WTO SPS Committee’s Fifth Review of the Operation and Implementation of the SPS Agreement, WTO Members identified fall armyworm (FAW) as an important topic for future work. This side event examined national and regional responses to the recent FAW outbreak in East Africa and in other parts of the world. 

As March is Gender Equality month, we close the month by celebrating the resilience of female farmers globally who transcend odds to nurture the soil and feed the world.
