Julius Bright Ross
Dr. Julius Bright Ross is a Water & Natural Resources Management Advisor and AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA). Dr. Bright Ross is the coordinator of the intra-agency Sustainable Food Systems working group and supports the Infrastructure and Natural & Water Resources Management team in BHA's Office of Technical and Program Quality. He earned his PhD at the University of Oxford, where he studied the determinants of resilience to rapid environmental change in wild animal populations. Afterwards, he researched economic approaches to reducing human-wildlife conflict between pastoralists and large carnivores in south-central Tanzania.
