Janina Mera
Dr. Mera is a mixed-methods researcher with over 15 years of experience working with international development. She is currently a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor in the Bureau for Food Security (BFS). In that role, she serves as the resilience metrics lead and gender metrics co-lead for the BFS MEL team as well as backstops Kenya, Guatemala, Honduras, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. Janina holds a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where her dissertation examined social capital in land reform settlements.
