Guillermo Jimenez

United States Business Development Manager World Vision, Inc.

Hi, I am Guillermo and work as a Business Development Manager at World Vision, Inc. Prior to WVInc., I worked at Tearfund USA where I oversaw the organization’s foundations portfolio and provided leadership to the organization’s partnerships in Latin America.  Prior to Tearfund USA, I worked for over 8 years at Agros International, a non-profit organization focused on eradicating poverty through land ownership and economic development programs for rural families in Central America. During my tenure at Agros I oversaw the implementation of programs focused on reducing the incidence of chronic malnutrition, reducing food insecurity and increasing household incomes. I also gained experience in resource development, mobilizing individual donors, institutions, and foundations to advance Agros’ mission.

Early in my career, I moved to an urban slum of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, pioneering Servant Partner’s community development programs.  Previously, I served two years at World Vision Honduras, where I led WVH’s community development and leadership training programs and served as National Advocacy Coordinator.

I hold a BA degree in Philosophy and Business Administration from Houghton University, NY, and an MA in International Development from Eastern University, PA.
