James Gaffney
In my role as Global Regulatory Portfolio Lead, I develop strategic planning for commercialization of new crop technologies. This requires enhancing engagment with regulatory agencies around the world and developing relationships with academics and other key stakeholders. I maintain a passion for agricultural development in Africa, borne from my days as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, Central Africa, and as a former farm kid. My family raised corn, soybeans and hogs on our farm in southwest Minnestoa. I try to stay connected to the farm by working on succession planning to help ensure the farm stays in the family.
