Farai Gwelo
Farai is a rural development practitioner with expertise in ICT4D, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, youth inclusion and knowledge management. She has 8 years of experience in the sphere and has worked and consulted for several organisations including the International Fund for Agricultural Developement, the Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network, the Southern African Dceelopemnt Community (SADC) and national governments. Farai has experience in designing country strategies for agricultural development, national nutrition strategies and agricultural programmes and projects. She is passionate about the commercialisation and digitalisation of smallholder agriculture in Africa towards the goal of making smallholder farmers more competitive and profitable.
