
Erin Menzies Pluer
Erin is a second year AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at USAID in the Bureau for Resilience and Food Security in the Center for Agriculture Led Growth. She earned a PhD from Cornell University in 2019 in the department of Biological and Environmental Engineering. Erin's work focuses on the environmental impacts of agricultural land use with an understanding that the food system and farming are crucial and important components of livelihoods around the globe. Erin also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador from 2011 to 2013.
