Dr. Callicott is a Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She is a cultural anthropologist with extensive experience working with Indigenous peoples and issues, including Indigenous Knowledge and Indigenous environmental and sovereignty movements. She is interested in environmental and climate justice, land and resource governance and management, and intellectual property rights issues, particularly with regard to medicinal plants and Indigenous knowledge and culture.
