Ethiopia Lecturer & Research In Department/Field of Agricultural Engineering Haramaya Institute of Technology (HiT), Haramaya University

Biniam Zewdie is a full-time lecturer since 2008 E.c. in the department of Agricultural Engineering at Haramaya Institute of Technology, Haramaya University. Currently, he is teaching several courses in agricultural Engineering and engaged in research and community works. 

Biniam was born on April 8, 1982 E.C. in Jara, Gololcha Woreda, East Bale Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia from his father Zewdie Gebrekidan and his mother Tirunesh Abebe. He attended his elementary school education at Borat (Borana and Ceeka ) and his high school education at Jara Secondary and Preparatory School.

He then joined Adama Science and Technology University in 2001 E.C. and graduated with a BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering (Agricultural Mechanization Engineering) in 2005 E.C. Soon after graduation, he was employed by the Ministry of Agriculture; Agricultural, Technical, Vocational and Educational Training (ATVET) and served at Agarfa ATVET College, as senior assistant Instructor and team leader until he joined Haramaya University, as Assistant Lecturer since 2008 E.C. he joined Haramaya University for his postgraduate studies in 2010 E.C for MSc in Agricultural Mechanization Engineering. 

In 2014 E.C Haramaya University give the chance to pursue his PhD under the School of Chemical, Mechanical and Material Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Program of PhD in Agricultural Machinery Engineering @ Adama Science & Technology University, Adama, Ethiopia.

# Computer literate in Microsoft Office package.
# Ability to speak read and write Afan Oromo, Amharic and English fluently.
