Emmanuel is an economist whose working experience cuts across banking, investment advisory and development planning. He is a partner at C-KADD Global- a consultancy firm that specialises in economic and energy advisory, audit and accountancy. Emmanuel is a remote contributor for IHS Markit- a business intelligence firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. Before that, he worked as an analyst for Songhai Advisory LLP from October 2015 to July 2017, where he carried out political and economic risk analysis for investors investing in Sub-Saharan Africa. He contributed immensely to the maiden ‘State of Social Enterprise in Ghana’ report which was sponsored by the British Council and executed by Songhai Advisory LLP in 2016. Emmanuel also worked at Access Bank Ghana Limited as a Relationship Officer where he offered financial advisory services and also made presentations on credit facilities to customers prior to joining Songhai Advisory LLP.

 

Emmanuel played an instrumental role in drafting the 2019 Annual Progress Report for Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDA's) and drafting Ghana's Medium-Term Development Plan for the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC). Emmanuel also interned at Africa Union's specialised institution, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) where he assisted the Programs Manager to appraise proposals of institutions seeking funding for projects. In 2020, he co-authored the report titled ‘Performance of Ghana’s Economy and Capacity for Financing Key Medium-Term (2021-2024) Flagship Policies and Programmes’ which was implemented by Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD) with funding from UKAid. Emmanuel is a sought-after economic analyst locally and internationally. Notable media houses to have granted interviews with him include BBC, Bloomberg, China Global Television Network (CGTN), China Africa Project, Channel Africa, TV Africa, GhOne, TV3, Metro TV, GTV, among others. He is also a columnist for Business and Financial Times (B&FT), a leading business newspaper in Ghana. Emmanuel is a chartered economist with specialisation in Economic Policy Analysis.  He holds a B.A. in Political Science and M.A in International Affairs and Diplomacy, both from the University of Ghana-Legon and currently pursuing his PhD in International Affairs in University of Ghana.
