At a very young age, I became cognizant of the fact that all of
our lives, well being, and resources are completely dependent upon the environment; this
realization astonished me and sparked my interest in environmental stewardship. This has led me
to my life goal - to work towards great advances in the realm of sustainable farming in
developing countries by advancing the use of renewable resources and developing better
agricultural education programs. In order to achieve this, the public service sector must create
communication networks between farmers in developing nations and world leaders in order to
understand what can be done to take to tackle the cyclical issues that are hurting the global food
system today.
