Andrea Bohn serves as the Project Manager for the Feed the Future Livestock Systems Innovation Lab, funded by USAID and implemented by the University of Florida in collaboration with the International Livestock Research Institute, ILRI. Learn more at https://livestocklab.ifas.ufl.edu/

Previously, Bohn was Associate Director of the Integrating Gender and Nutrition in Extension Services (INGENAES) Project funded by USAID. Before that, she was the project manager for the Modernizing Extension and Advisory Services (MEAS) Project, also funded by USAID and also implemented by the University of Illinois. She worked on the Worldwide Extension Study, implemented by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in collaboration with FAO and IICA, with funding from USAID. From 2002 to 2010 Bohn was an Assistant Dean in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Bohn managed all education abroad programs sponsored by ACES and promoted student participation in a broad portfolio of international learning experiences. Prior to that, Bohn worked at the University of Hohenheim in her home country, Germany. She coordinated the prestigious “Modularization” project funded by the Bund-Länder-Kommission für Bildungsplanung und Forschungsförderung (joint federal and state institution for the promotion of education and science) for implementing a modular course structure and introducing Bachelor and Master Programs in Agricultural Sciences.
