How to Engineer Performance in Any Context: Complex Systems

This is the final video of our four-part Performance Improvement (PI) series moderated by Kristen Kosinski, Klaus Wittkuhn, and Roger Addison. We focused on Complex Systems. The session started with a brief summary and then we addressed systems from simple to complicated to complex. During the session, we gave examples moving from simple to complex systems.
Working in complex systems takes a different approach: asking different questions and not looking at the problem directly but trying to understand what the system delivers and how. This reveals patterns and might lead to innovative approaches to change the logic of the system. Such an approach builds on inclusion and diversity because one wants to have every perspective possible around the table. We ended the series with an open discussion about some of the key points of working in complex systems. To learn more please watch the video below and add comments and questions.
