Climate Change Implications for Global Food Safety
Event Information
The U.S. Government Global Nutrition Coordination Plan Food Safety Technical Working Sub-Group is hosting a webinar addressing climate change implications for global food safety. While the effects of climate change on food security are better understood, the impacts on food safety have received limited recognition so far. The event will draw highlights from the FAO’s Climate change: Unpacking the burden on food safety, which serves as a compilation of some of the most up-to-date information on the effects of climate change on various food safety hazards.
