Access to Finance: What works for women entrepreneurs

Event Information
Alliance for Inclusive and Nutritious Food Processing-AINFP) is a partnership between USAID, TechnoServe, and Partners in Food Solutions (PFS) that aims to create a more competitive food-processing sector. The AINFP program leverages the power of the private sector to create better nutritional outcomes for base-of-the-pyramid consumers and more profitable market opportunities for local farmers. This is achieved by supporting local food processing companies in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia and Malawi through remote technical assistance and training from world leading food processing companies under PFS to increase the availability of safe, affordable, and nutritious food.
The first session under the AINFP Webinar series will bring together women entrepreneurs, AINFP Clients, partners and business finance experts from the region to engage and share knowledge on unique African opportunities in accessing affordable finance for women entrepreneurs.
Access to Finance: What works for women entrepreneurs
Access to finance is a huge component of business success globally and the same stands true for ventures in Africa. This aspect in business is faced by different challenges, one being the gender divide and its influence in the ability to access finance.
Although women face many constraints to accessing finance, there exist opportunities if you have the right tools, knowledge, and networks. Join us in a discussion that will allow you to engage with financial industry experts and women entrepreneurs who have had success in accessing finance.
