Stakeholder Listening Session: DFSA Final Evaluations
Event Information
Join IDEAL for our first stakeholder listening session focused on the Food for Peace DFSA final evaluations!
Are we getting as much out of the evaluations as we should?
How can we leverage the tremendous wealth of data and evidence generated by final evaluation exercises for better programming results?
IDEAL invites you to participate in our first stakeholder listening session focused on the final evaluations of Food for Peace-funded development food security activities. This event will introduce and seek implementing partner (IP) input into IDEAL’s new Associate Award, the Implementer-Led Evaluation & Learning Activity, which aims to increase IP ownership, participation, and application of learning from DFSA evaluations.
Some of the questions that will be discussed include:
- What have your experiences been with FFP DFSA final evaluations?
- How have you used final evaluation data and information in the past?
- How can we use final evaluation data and information better for more effective programming in the future?
Who should participate?
- IP staff involved in FFP DFSA award management, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management and learning.
Led by Save the Children, the Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis and Learning (IDEAL) activity is an activity funded by the USAID Office of Food for Peace (FFP) that works to support the United States Government’s goal of improving food and nutrition security among the world’s most vulnerable households and communities. IDEAL addresses knowledge and capacity gaps expressed by the food and nutrition security implementing community to support them in the design and implementation of effective development and emergency food security activities.
