Dear colleagues,

Please join SCALE on Tuesday, May 5 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM ET for a conversation on Seed-Related Assistance in Fragile Contexts: Lessons for COVID-19 Response. 

Together we will discuss:

• The likely impacts of the pandemic on farmers’ access to seeds;
• The critical questions humanitarian workers must ask before intervening in seed systems
• Essential good practices for seed-related responses, including considerations for seed distributions and linking to cash and voucher assistance; and
• The distinct (often novel) hurdles posed in seed assistance and COVID-19 response

We will feature a presentation with Louise Sperling (SeedSystem) as well as an in-depth Q&A session with several technical experts. Notes and resources from the event will be shared on the FSN Network Forum.
