About Us

The purpose of the Feed the Future Zone of Influence (ZOI) Surveys is to provide the U.S. Government interagency partners, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS), USAID Missions, host country governments, and development partners with information on the current status of the Feed the Future ZOI-level population-based survey indicators. The surveys are designed to provide point estimates for Feed the Future ZOI indicators at a defined level of precision.

The technical guides, templates, and tools relevant to the Feed the Future Phase Two Baseline (2018-2020) and Midline (2021-2023) ZOI Surveys provided through this site are a collaboration between USAID/RFS and the Performance Evaluation for Effectiveness and Learning activity. In light of the ongoing need for consistent methodological standards and high-quality data, the Feed the Future ZOI Survey Methods Toolkit constitutes a global public good: it is available to survey implementers to support standardized data collection and management processes that result in high-quality data.
